Acrobatics at NOB

Acrobatics was not only a sport for Olmedo; it was also the time when he made his lifetime friends.

“Newell’s Acrobatics Team was an important one,” states his friend Martínez, who recalls two trips of the team to Mendoza & Chile in 1951 & 1954. "We performed comic acrobatics with Alberto (who was so thin, he flied!) and besides he started doing what used to be called phonomimic (a performance based on playback), he says. Also, they performed at other clubs in Rosario and other cites of the country.
