Capilla San Patricio

The chapel and the parish house were opened in 1892 on lands donated to the Irish community and located at 200 Rodriguez St. The construction of St. Patrick Church, on the corner of Salta St. and Rodriguez St., started in 1904.

The Neo-Gothic building was designed by the Italian architect Luigi Broggi and funded by donations from the Irish community and other benefactors. Completed in 1909, the building stands out for its towers, stone arcades, colorful stained-glass windows, and a main facade ornamented with a St. Patrick statue. Inside, there are also plenty of details that make it a unique space.
Due to the massive turnout of devotees, this chapel had to be expanded, and it changed its entrance to Salta St., where a large green area connects it to St. Patrick school
