This is the building where Fontanarrosa lived as a child.
Fontanarrosa was born on November 26th, 1944. Berto and Rosita, his parents, named him Roberto Alfredo. He gave his first steps in the “L” apartment on the 2nd floor of Dominicis building (1421 Catamarca St), maybe listening to a soccer match or a tango on the radio. In 2014, the Municipal Council of Rosario declared the corner of Catamarca and Corrientes Streets, Roberto Fontanarrosa's Corner as a tribute to his birthplace.
