In 1917 the "Society of the Asylum of the Most Holy Rosary" bought the property located at 423 Arijon Street and donated it to the Dominican sisters of Tucuman.
Engineer Jose Grondona was in charge of the works in a second stage, and Taiana & Co was the construction company.
On September 27th, 1924, the opening was a social and cultural event for the city. During that day, seven trams carried the residents who wanted to attend the event free of charge. The donated building had the characteristics of a convent and refuge on one wing, and of a school on the other wing, separated by a chapel.
Currently, it has 1,600 students, reflecting the relevance of the institution for the neighborhood, and consolidating itself as one of the most chosen schools by the residents of Saladillo.
