“Malvinas Argentinas” is Newell's Old Boys’s children soccer school.

Is the Newell's Old Boys’s children soccer school. Messi started his professional career at this place. Leo used to watch the games of his brother Rodrigo and, one day, he was invited to join one of the teams. The formal relationship with Newell’s started right then. According to card# 99231 of Rosario’s Soccer Association, Messi first played as a member of Newell’s on March 30th, 1994, at a game against Pablo VI club. Leo scored 4 out of 6 of the goals made by his team, with a final result of 6-0. The team Lionel was in swept all games and was called “The 1987 Machine” due to the winning virtue of their category. During his childhood career, he scored a total of 234 goals in 176 games.
