One of Fisherton's oldest and most iconic clubs.
In 1922, the Jockey Club acquired an 86-ha parcel of land in Fisherton to install a sports field mainly for horse riding. The original building, on Wilde St., was inaugurated in 1936. It is a modern-style villa designed by architects Sánchez, Lagos, and de la Torre, authors of the renowned Kavanagh Building in Buenos Aires. Over time, the club expanded its infrastructure. Currently, the property has an approximate 110-ha area that almost equals the size of Independence Park, the largest green space in Rosario. Sports range from tennis, rugby, swimming, and hockey to cricket, horse riding, fencing, golf, and polo.
