The dovecote

Since its origin in 1937, it has been an attraction for visitors.

Since its origin in 1937, it has been an attraction for visitors due to its large number of carrier pigeons and other species.  They were brought from Buenos Aires and were cared for by specialized caretakers. This space gave rise to the confluence of different entrepreneurships: from bird seed and balloon sellers to photographers who made instant portraits, a novelty at the time. This context meant that the dovecote became a regular stop on the walk through the park.

Today the doors of its cage are open and specimens circulate throughout the wooded area.
