Located on the corner of Rioja and Mitre Streets, it was designed by Arch. Francisco Roca i Simó in 1911. The facade, which includes Art Nouveau details, is hierarchized in the corner by an important balcony on the first floor above the entrance door, which is supported by two large corbels. A pair of double-height Doric columns frame the windows, topping the section with the name of the institution. On the facade, we also find the image of Hermes, messenger, and son of Zeus - the father of all gods, protector of travelers, merchants, and thieves, according to Greek mythology - and of the nymph Maya.
