These old warehouses were renewed and transformed into cultural spaces.
Due to the fall of the agro-exporting model and the fact that port activities were moved southwards, warehouses that were formerly used as good stores were then idle. After several years of neglect, they were completely renewed preserving the original metallic structures, the brick walls, and the huge sliding gates.
Currently, they hold cultural spaces such as Mercado de Diseño (Design Market) and Estacion Rosario 300 (Rosario 300 Station) in Warehouse 17, Escuela Municipal de Artes Urbanas (Municipal School of Urban Art, Warehouse 15), El Aura del Tricentenario (The Aura of the Tercentenary), the first covered public square between Warehouses 13 and 15, Galpon de la Música (Music Warehouse), Tecnoteca (Technological Platform, Warehouse 11), Centro de Expresiones Contemporaneas, CEC (Contemporary Expressions Center), and, northwards, near two old port structures, Puerto Joven (Youth Port).
