This important health facility, which for decades was the only one in the northern area of the city, was inaugurated on October 2nd, 1919, coincident with the annexation of the Alberdi village to the Municipality of Rosario. In 1947, it moved to its current building, which originally housed the Village Development Committee.
Its facade reflects the rationalist style, associated with modernity and progress, and presents a set of volumes that highlights its presence. This approach seeks to improve the quality of life through increased natural lighting, ventilation, and comfort. The simple lines and functional forms of the facade combine aesthetics and efficiency.
Over time, the original building has been expanded several times to improve patient care, as population growth in the northern area of the city increased the demand for health services.
