This building, erected on a narrow lot in 1990 by architect Augusto Pantarotto and designed for a branch office of Banco Israelita, combines a bank branch on the first floor with a high-rise housing complex.
Its design breaks with the continuity of the building front on Córdoba Street, generating an inflection in the façade plane that expands and offers more visual space for pedestrians.
The balconies on the upper floors, with a distinctive double-curved plane, extend towards the interior of the lot and open towards the party wall, allowing more natural light in the openings. This reveals a careful study and a clear intention to achieve formal harmony throughout.
Due to its unique structure and formal treatment, this building has become an icon in the Paseo del Siglo.
