Private Docks

In this sector there were numerous private docks, among which the pier of Remonda & Monserrat, a hardware store, stands out.

Some of the facilities can still be seen along certain stretches of the riverbank as evidence of how the area was used in the past.

Nowadays, there are several public areas: Sunchales Park, Mercosur Park, and Arenera Park. The name of the latter alludes to the companies located in the area that extracted sand from the river for use in construction.

Highlights include La Ciudad de las Niñas y los Niños (Children’s City), located in the building of the former Embarcaderos cargo station, and the "Paper Boat," which symbolizes Rosario's relationship with the river.
