From another galaxy and from my city.
This 69-meter-high mural is the biggest tribute in Rosario to the captain of the Argentinian football team.
This work entitled “From another galaxy and from my city” is part of a project in which another mural was painted in tribute to “la Pulga”, as his nickname goes, in his neighborhood, “La Bajada”, during Copa America 2021.
The artists in charge of painting this mural were Jacinto Urteaga, Marlene Zuriaga and Lisandro Urteaga, members of the group “Imagina Pintura Mural”. Their mural covered a 534 m2 surface and features Lionel staring at us, standing tall in his hometown, under a shared sky.
While he touches his chest, he feels his sky-blue and white heart growing with love.
