This building from 1912, which housed the emblematic Rex Hotel, is a remarkable work by Alejandro Maspoli & Cia Construction Company.
It is characterized by an imposing roof with broken slopes of the French mansard roof type. It is crowned at the corner by a slim dome, consisting of three parts that are reduced towards the top, of which the second one is adorned with portholes with vitraux and covered with red tiles, culminating in a small cupola.
