This villa, built by the renowned architect Hilarion Hernandez Larguia, is a rationalist, modest house, with a front garden, and a larger one in the back.
Olga and Leticia Cossettini lived there when they arrived in town from their native town, San Jorge. The Cossettini sisters were part of the active school movement and developed the "Escuela Serena" project at the Gabriel Carrasco Experimental School. During that period, this characteristic Alberdi villa was visited by prominent intellectuals such as Jorge Luis Borges, Margarita Xirgu, Juan Ramon Jimenez, Gabriela Mistral, and Ernesto Sabato, among many others, who shared talks and working days with teachers and children.
Nowadays, the "Amigos del Parana" Senior Citizen Center develops its activities in this building.
