The No. 77 Juan Enrique Pestalozzi School was inaugurated in April 1928 in an imposing neoclassical building, also known as the "Palace School"
Its construction, surrounded by low houses, meant a real milestone for the area. Since then, it maintained a large student matriculation and became a pillar of the socio-cultural growth of the neighborhood, actively participating in the life of the community.
Over the years, the school continues to be a must-see in the neighborhood. The building has undergone various interior modifications and improvements, including the incorporation of a gym, a library, and other spaces that strengthen its educational and social role.
In August 2001, it was declared a Site of Historical, Architectural and Cultural Interest by the Municipal Council of Rosario.
It is distinguished by its neoclassical facade, with an imposing colonnade and a frontispiece that reflect the characteristic school style of the time. It is recognized as a true "Palace School", for its monumentality, elegance, and luxury, evoking the majesty of a palace.
