“La Isleta”

Also known as the "Saladillo Dry Arm", this area is delimited by the two arms of the stream: the southern arm, which runs in a straight line from the west, and the northern arm, which bifurcates from the previous one in the vicinity of Argentina Ave. and Andes St., drawing a semicircle, and rejoins the southern arm before the estuary.

The old "Baths" were fed by the northern arm, which was closed in the 1960s. To cross this obstacle, wooden and concrete bridges were built. In the 1980s, this dry arm was transformed into a promenade following its old course, with benches, parked areas, and new lighting.
On the southern section of the stream, near the estuary, there is an ancient bridge that continues the layout of El Mangrullo dead-end street. Further inland, a more recent bridge crosses the southern arm, connecting Rosario with Villa Gobernador Galvez.
The channel course, which winds along Argentina Ave. has been transformed into a parked trail that calls for quiet walks, and is called the "Saladillo Dry Arm.
