It has a seating capacity for 2000 spectators and it has the biggest capacity of the theaters in Rosario.
It opened its doors to the public in 1927, being the biggest opera house in the city since then. Great artists such as Carlos Gardel and Libertad Lamarque walked its stage. In a privileged location, in the very commercial center of the city, Broadway theater has always been closely linked to the culture of Rosario. On November 7th 2002, after being closed for a short time, the theater reopened its doors looking splendid as in the best gala evenings. Today, this venue hosts plays, music, ballet and multidisciplinary cultural events in the heart of the city.
