Palacio Fuentes

Located at the corner of Santa Fe St. and Sarmiento St., it is one of the jewels of local architecture.

It was designed by architect J.B. Durand and it was inaugurated in 1927. The facade is shown like an open air museum, with reliefs, sculptures and large lanterns. The bronze door derived from the Gates of Paradise, Baptistery of Saint John, Florence.
